About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead pre- and post-silicon test engineering activities to support the development and high-volume manufacturing of advanced IC products.
- Develop comprehensive pre-silicon characterization test plans and perform ATE board design.
- Debug test programs, execute characterization plans, and analyze silicon performance, yield, and device marginalities.
- Drive cost and quality improvements across wafer fabrication, assembly, probe, and final test.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers while conducting production test yield analysis and root cause investigations.
- Collaborate with global design, verification, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust product delivery.
Requirements
- BSEE with 7.5+ years of experience in semiconductor IC development.
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits from transistor to system level.
- Hands-on experience with ATE hardware/software development (e.g., Diamond X, J750, Uflex).
- Expertise in silicon development, validation, qualification, and correlation methodologies.
- Advanced statistical data analysis skills and proficiency in scripting languages like Perl.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows environments, along with version control systems (GIT, SVN, Perforce).
- Skilled in using bench lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters.
Preferred Qualifications
- MSEE degree.
- Knowledge of IC packaging, testing, and manufacturing technologies.
- Experience with TS16949 or IATF16949 quality standards.
- Understanding of ISO-26262 Automotive Functional Safety.
- Proficiency in PCB schematic design, layout, assembly, and debugging.
- Experience in IC failure analysis.
