About the role

Responsibilities

  • Configure, administer, and maintain network switches, routers, and related infrastructure.
  • Perform Linux system integration and administration, including user management, service configuration, and system hardening.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages to enhance deployment consistency.
  • Support hardware integration efforts, including setup, cabling, and system bring-up activities.
  • Translate customer requirements into formal system architectures and detailed block diagrams.
  • Conduct customer briefings and technical presentations regarding system capabilities and integration progress.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and system issues across physical and virtual environments.
  • Perform vulnerability testing using tools such as ACAS/Nessus and ensure STIG compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 7.5 - 10 years of directly related experience in systems design or integration.
  • Proven experience in network architecture and switch configuration (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
  • Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and STIG compliance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, RHCSA, or Network+.
  • Experience with version control (Git, Mercurial) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with virtualization or containerization technologies like VMware or Docker.
  • Prior experience working in classified or restricted network environments.
