Senior Engineer II, Platform Cloud

Responsibilities

• Build services and tooling to advance cloud capabilities using AWS services (EKS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, Bedrock, and ParallelCluster)
• Design, build, and maintain agentic AI systems and automated workflows
• Drive automation of the entire software delivery lifecycle
• Review, comment, and approve pull/merge requests
• Ensure observability and availability of investment systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
• Mentor junior team members
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable services in AWS
• Expertise with Linux and Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, or C#
• Knowledge of observability platforms (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, New Relic, or Prometheus)
• Understanding of modern AI concepts, including agentic systems and orchestration
• Familiarity with Bash/POSIX Shell scripting
• Practical experience with networking and storage
• BS in Computer Science or a related field preferred
