Senior Engineer II, Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for high-precision ALD chamber and semiconductor equipment.
• Perform engineering calculations related to structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics to ensure robust designs.
• Create and maintain Creo Parametric 3D CAD models and detailed drawings for parts and complex assemblies.
• Manage Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs) and process engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
• Prepare engineering documentation to support prototype builds, manufacturing, and testing.
• Interface with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product transfer.
• Support hardware development, installation, and testing to verify performance against specifications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience using multiple CAD programs (experience with Creo Parametric is a plus).
• Proficiency in generating robust manufacturing drawings using GD&T.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques including machined components, sheet metal, and weldments.
• Ability to read and design P&ID schematics.
• Experience working with semiconductor tools in a FAB environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, RF, or plasma systems.
• Experience with high-precision semiconductor equipment design.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers on critical engineering principles.
