Senior Engineer II, Key Account Technology (Epi)

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical interface for key customers, supporting Epitaxy process development and production.
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and evaluation activities at customer sites, leading hands-on deployment.
• Execute customer-specific DOE and demo activities in collaboration with process teams.
• Diagnose and resolve complex process and equipment issues, leading technical escalations and root cause analysis.
• Monitor equipment performance to ensure alignment with customer specifications.
• Collaborate with global R&D, Product Marketing, and Service teams to translate customer requirements into product development inputs.

Requirements

• Ph.D. with 4-8+ years of relevant industry experience, or Master's degree with 7-10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in Epitaxy (Epi), thin film, or deposition processes (e.g., CVD, ALD, diffusion).
• Experience in semiconductor device manufacturing, process development, or the capital equipment industry.
• Fluency in both Korean and English.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with key semiconductor accounts such as Samsung or SK hynix.
• Background as a Process Engineer, Integration Engineer, Application Engineer, or Technical Customer Support.
• Experience leading NPI programs or customer technology evaluations.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive technical strategy.
