Senior Engineer II (Isolation Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the Indian Web Isolation team
• Extend and support remote browser technology on desktop and mobile platforms
• Work on Chromium internals, networking, video/audio, and advanced HTML5 features
• Manage containerization, load balancing, scaling, and cost-saving initiatives
• Maintain a strong security focus across all development work

Requirements

• Excellent C++ skills
• Strong knowledge of Python and Javascript
• Strong networking fundamentals
• Systems-level Linux experience
• Ability to write clean, concise and maintainable code
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• BSc or higher degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing features in Chromium or other browser platforms (content, browser, core, compositor, skia, networking)
• Strong knowledge of HTTP security
• Experience with Tornado, haproxy, Amazon AWS, Google GCP, WebGL, WebRTC, or Redis
