Senior Engineer II Engineering - Field

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure, including datacenters, networks, and surveillance systems.
• Execute installation, configuration, and preventive/corrective maintenance for Windows/Linux servers, Juniper networks, and VMware/vCenter environments.
• Monitor system performance using platforms like Zabbix or Nagios to diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents.
• Support pre-sales engineering by coordinating responses to RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, including technical design, traffic dimensioning, and link budget planning.
• Develop final technical documentation and perform on-site coverage analysis and interference resolution.
• Supervise external providers and ensure all technical procedures comply with strict global cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications, IT, or Electronics Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in telecommunications and IT, specifically managing the full project lifecycle (pre-sales and post-sales).
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration and VMware/vCenter environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (VPN, SIP, SNMP) and experience with firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Santa Fe, availability for on-call shifts, and willingness to travel (over 50% travel required).
