Senior Engineer I - Validation

Responsibilities

• Develop validation and test plan documentation based on datasheets to ensure sufficient test coverage
• Specify and design test environments, including software requirements, lab equipment, and test board designs
• Perform lab-based post-silicon validation data collection and document results
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and Applications Engineering teams to validate new silicon products
• Replicate customer issues in the lab and interface with field engineers to perform root cause analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in validation or a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of electronics lab equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Protocol Analyzers
• Experience with microcontroller development using C or C++
• Understanding of connectivity protocols such as USB, Ethernet, or PCI-E
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LabVIEW for controlling automated test environments
• Knowledge of IC device characterization
• Familiarity with USB Power Delivery or Flash Media Standards
• Experience in hardware development, including schematic design and PCB prototyping
• Experience providing direct support to customers and Field Applications Engineers
