Senior Engineer I - Systems

Responsibilities

• Engineer embedded systems and algorithms for time, position, and RF communications using full systems design methodology
• Collaborate with hardware, software, FPGA, and mechanical engineers to develop customer solutions
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineers to introduce and release new products
• Work with System Integration to assist with equipment installation at customer sites worldwide
• Participate in R&D programs in the field of timing and communications systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university
• 5+ years of experience in the Systems Engineering process (requirements, design, implementation, verification, and test)
• Proficiency in simulation, data processing, and analysis using Python and/or MATLAB
• Familiarity with digital test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Multi-Meters
• US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in digital signal processing, control system design, or statistical classification algorithms
• Ability to operate efficiently in a Linux/Unix environment
• Knowledge of microprocessors, memory devices, and logic devices
• Familiarity with precise timing applications including oscillators and GPS receivers
• Experience executing government programs with formal documentation (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
• Current TS/SCI and/or DoD Top Secret clearances
