Senior Engineer I-Physical Design

Responsibilities

• Implement all aspects of physical design including floor planning, placement optimization, clock tree synthesis, routing, crosstalk avoidance, EMIR, and physical verification
• Develop and optimize place and route methodologies and low power methodologies
• Provide timing closure support to maximize process node capability
• Manage clock tree setup, debug, and synthesis for optimal Quality of Results (QoR)
• Execute multi-voltage island-based floorplan design and support
• Develop flows and implement automation to improve efficiency
• Deliver physical verification-clean designs and perform die size estimation
• Interface with external vendors, IP sources, and international design teams to resolve technical issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant physical design experience
• Strong understanding of VLSI and related concepts
• Deep knowledge of logic synthesis and timing concepts (setup, hold, uncertainty, etc.)
• Scripting skills in programming languages, with a preference for TCL or Python
• Basic RTL coding knowledge (VHDL/Verilog)
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently under local project lead mentorship
