About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the functional configuration of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) including SmartRecruiters, onboarding modules, and Workday recruitment touchpoints.
  • Own the reliability and performance of specific recruitment and talent acquisition tools, ensuring robust documentation and logic.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leaders to design technology solutions that optimize candidate experience and operational efficiency.
  • Resolve complex technical support queries via Jira, identifying root causes and implementing long-term functional fixes.
  • Design and build advanced custom reports and talent dashboards to provide insights into hiring metrics and pipeline health.
  • Evaluate new recruitment technologies and integrations to shape the long-term technical roadmap of the talent ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Strong background in HRIS or ATS configuration and administration, specifically with SmartRecruiters and/or Workday Recruiting.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end talent system implementations or major optimization projects.
  • Analytical problem-solving mindset with the ability to use recruitment datasets to inform system configuration.
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical logic into simple language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep commitment to candidate data security, confidentiality, and high-quality testing/documentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage varied workloads against hiring timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing adjacent People tools such as Peakon, Visier, Absorb, or background check integrations.
  • Workday Core HCM/Recruiting certifications or expertise in secondary modules like Talent Optimization or Onboarding.
  • Experience managing system upgrades or tool rollouts using Jira and Confluence.
  • Interest in emerging market trends, such as AI in recruiting and new HR Tech ecosystem features.
