Senior Engineer I, Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design systems and products for the semiconductor industry using solid engineering principles and research data
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid-dynamics engineering calculations
• Create and update CAD models and detailed drawings in Creo Parametric, ranging from simple parts to large assemblies
• Troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions using statistical methods to meet safety and design requirements
• Prepare engineering documentation to support prototype builds, manufacturing, and testing
• Conduct project management activities including scheduling, reporting, and design reviews
• Execute failure analysis (FA) and implement timely corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product transitions to manufacturing

Requirements

• Masters in mechanical engineering or a related degree (PhD strongly preferred)
• Graduation in Spring 2026 or graduation within the past two years
• Experience with complex mechanical systems such as reactors, vacuum chambers, or gas delivery systems
• Proficiency in Creo Parametric and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards
• Knowledge of materials including metals, plastics, surface coatings, and finishes
• Familiarity with fabrication methods like CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, and coatings

Preferred Qualifications

• Cleanroom experience with deposition technologies (CVD, ALD, EPI, PVD)
• Hands-on experience with assembly and testing
