Senior Engineer I, Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Support system engineering projects involving electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design
• Assist in system integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs
• Assess feasibility of product proposals and resolve technical issues while adhering to safety criteria
• Manage engineering projects, including report generation, schedule maintenance, and interdepartmental coordination
• Create and execute project plans using Gantt charts and resource/cost estimates via MS Project
• Collaborate with engineering, software, and process teams to support hardware development and testing
• Conduct and coordinate tests, providing feedback on new designs and ongoing engineering improvements
• Assist in defining external equipment interfaces and analyzing architecture ideas

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a relevant discipline
• At least 5 years of experience as a process engineer in semiconductor equipment manufacturing
• Expertise in equipment hardware design or development of units/systems such as Reactor or Plasma Source
• Proficiency in Pro-E/Creo and CAD 3D Design/Modeling techniques
• Proficiency in JMP
• Fluent in both English and Korean
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a global customer base
