Senior Engineer I, Field Process

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced thin-film deposition process solutions.
• Act as the technical lead for complex customer projects, ensuring timely delivery and high satisfaction.
• Own external field escalations and quality investigations, documenting and publishing lessons learned.
• Analyze complex data sets to develop actionable plans and ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage process and hardware development, device integration, and troubleshooting to meet product specifications.
• Collaborate with customers to align on technology roadmaps, process flows, and strategic inflection points.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• In-depth work experience in thin-film deposition or related semiconductor processes.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English (verbal and written) for technical and strategic presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in team environments.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment while adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
