Senior Engineer HBM Layout

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, mixed-signal, custom digital blocks, and full chip level integration support.
• Perform layout verification including LVS, DRC, and Antenna checks, ensuring high-quality documentation.
• Lead planning, area/time estimation, scheduling, and delegation to meet project milestones in a multi-project environment.
• Ensure on-time delivery of block-level layouts while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with global engineering teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analog/custom layout design using advanced CMOS processes (Planar, FinFET).
• BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering or a related field.
• Expertise in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS.
• Hands-on experience creating layouts for critical blocks such as PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, Bandgap, and Temperature sensors.
• Strong knowledge of analog layout fundamentals, including matching, electro-migration, latch-up, coupling, crosstalk, and IR-drop.
• Understanding of how layout effects impact circuit performance, such as speed, capacitance, power, and area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multiple tape-outs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple layout projects simultaneously while maintaining quality checks at all stages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills regarding the physical verification of custom layouts.
