Senior Engineer HBM Layout

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, mixed-signal, and custom digital blocks, including full chip level integration support.
• Perform layout verification tasks such as LVS, DRC, and Antenna checks, ensuring high-quality documentation.
• Lead project planning, including area/time estimation, scheduling, and delegation to meet critical milestones.
• Ensure on-time delivery of block-level layouts while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with global engineering teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analog or custom layout design using advanced CMOS processes (Planar, FinFET).
• BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering or a related field.
• Expert proficiency in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS.
• Hands-on experience designing critical blocks such as PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, Bandgap, and Temperature sensors.
• Deep understanding of analog layout fundamentals, including matching, electro-migration, latch-up, crosstalk, and IR-drop.
• Ability to analyze and implement layouts considering effects on speed, capacitance, power, and area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multiple tape-outs.
• Proven track record of managing multiple layout projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills specifically related to the physical verification of custom layouts.
