Senior Engineer, Field Service

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify current and future customer needs to build long-term sustainable relationships.
• Develop action plans for problem resolution and present them to internal and external customers.
• Manage new site start-ups, including planning and risk assessment for successful execution.
• Develop improvements for hardware, software, and processes to enhance equipment and business operations.
• Project manage new evaluations and ensure project success through defined scope and resource planning.
• Coach and mentor lower-level Field Service Engineers to develop higher-level skill sets.
• Work independently to solve highly complex problems while meeting project timelines and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of technical experience, preferably in the Semiconductor, Capital Equipment, or CVD related industries.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex microprocessor-controlled electromechanical systems.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25%-50%) and work on a shift/on-call basis.
• Strong knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques and excellent customer service skills.
