Senior Engineer, Field Process

Responsibilities

• Lead joint process development and qualification of new ASM systems and products at customer sites.
• Support customer deposition process and hardware development, including continuous improvement projects (CIP).
• Design and execute experiments for device integration, process development, and troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis of system performance non-conformances at customer sites.
• Lead process transfer to High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) fabs and develop Best Known Methods (BKMs).
• Collaborate with field hardware, service, and sales teams to troubleshoot new product issues.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical).
• 3–5 years of experience as a process engineer or equivalent academic/industry experience.
• Strong fundamentals in thin-film processing and characterization using deposition reactors (ALD, PECVD, or Epitaxy).
• Proficiency with Design of Experiments (DOE), SPC, and statistical analysis methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying advanced technical concepts.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support customer sites and training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DRAM and NAND device integration and technology development.
• Experience with advanced packaging integration (wafer-level hybrid bonding, HBM, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with ASM ALD, PEALD, PECVD, and Epitaxy tools.
