About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the equipment owner for assigned manufacturing tools, ensuring availability, reliability, safety, and performance.
- Lead line-sustaining activities, including troubleshooting, containment, and permanent corrective actions for high-impact equipment issues.
- Drive Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvement initiatives through systematic downtime analysis and defect reduction.
- Plan, execute, and validate preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Lead equipment qualification, buy-off, and transfer activities for new or upgraded manufacturing tools.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using structured methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and Why-Why.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, control plans, and maintenance standards.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support capacity and yield improvements.
- Provide technical mentoring and guidance to Equipment Engineers and technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing equipment engineering within a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proven background in line sustaining, equipment reliability, maintenance engineering, and OEE improvement.
