Senior Engineer, Equipment Engineering

Responsibilities

• Act as the equipment owner for assigned manufacturing tools, ensuring availability, reliability, safety, and performance.
• Lead line-sustaining activities, including troubleshooting, containment, and permanent corrective actions for high-impact equipment issues.
• Drive Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvement initiatives through systematic downtime analysis and defect reduction.
• Plan, execute, and validate preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Lead equipment qualification, buy-off, and transfer activities for new or upgraded manufacturing tools.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using structured methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and Why-Why.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, control plans, and maintenance standards.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support capacity and yield improvements.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to Equipment Engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing equipment engineering within a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Proven background in line sustaining, equipment reliability, maintenance engineering, and OEE improvement.
