Senior Engineer, Equipment Development

Responsibilities

• Lead pathfinding for SSD new equipment roadmaps
• Act as technical lead in SSD equipment development and deployment aligned with IR4/IR5 initiatives
• Extend equipment life and upgrade machines to support new products and optimize CAPEX
• Improve UPH and yield for existing machinery
• Standardize and upgrade automation software coding to enable SECS/GEM and Database integration
• Support automation performance enhancement and machine performance data availability
• Support APC, Machine Learning, and AI programming for light-off automation manufacturing
• Manage budgets for new equipment projects according to the roadmap

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
• Deep technical knowledge in equipment development engineering
• Ability to work independently with internal product design teams and automation vendors
• Experience designing and managing new equipment involving hardware, software, deployment, production, and safety teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in automation system troubleshooting and process control
• Ability to train equipment technicians on system-level troubleshooting
