Senior Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Design low voltage reticulation and distribution systems (230/400Volt) including UPS sources
• Utilize AMTECH or Electrical OM software to produce designs for low voltage systems, including cable selection and protective devices
• Design general and emergency lighting systems using industry-standard lighting design software
• Design cable management systems (CMS) including trunking, tray, and conduits, including sizing calculations
• Use Bentley Microstation and AECOsim to model 3D MEP services and generate 2D sections
• Work within a BIM environment and Common Data Environment (preferably Bentley ProjectWise)
• Supervise, verify, and mentor Assistant Engineers and Engineers in day-to-day design activities
• Interpret client specifications and present designs via schematic and 2D layout drawings

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in electrical design within a Rail environment or railway infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in AMTECH or Electrical OM software
• Experience with Bentley Microstation and AECOsim
• Strong understanding of BIM and Common Data Environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional membership and professional qualification (CEng) from international professional institutions
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical tasks both independently and within a team
