Senior Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the implementation of electrical construction documents on-site to ensure alignment with approved plans and specifications.
• Plan, supervise, and administer projects by applying expertise in design principles, construction procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the Design Engineer, contractor, and client representatives to resolve on-site design challenges and implement necessary modifications.
• Review engineering details and assist in the selection of materials and equipment in compliance with approved submittals.
• Identify and report non-conformities through the issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Attend progress and coordination meetings to resolve technical conflicts and drawing discrepancies.
• Participate in snagging and project handover activities to ensure quality and contractual standards are met.
• Submit daily site reports highlighting progress, key issues, and observations to the Project Lead.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of post-undergraduate professional experience.
• Proven experience working within a consultancy environment in the Middle East.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
