Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new functions for Wayne payment products and third-party integrations
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
• Complete individual sprint assignments with minimal supervision
• Perform design and code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Assist in triaging customer-reported field issues in collaboration with support teams
• Maintain superior quality while meeting tight development schedules

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• 3+ years of software development experience in Windows environments
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, HTML5, or React
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or VMWare
• Strong understanding of OOPS, SOLID design principles, and multi-threading
• Experience working with REST and RESTful web APIs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payment software, Point of Sale (POS), or EPS development
• Understanding of EMV, P2PE, PCI PA-DSS, or general payment systems
• Real-time embedded development experience (Windows CE 6.0, IoT, or Windows 10)
• Experience with TCP/IP sockets, serial communication, USB, or video/audio development
• Familiarity with .NET Compact Framework 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008
• Proficiency with development tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, or Source Tree
• Experience with SignalR or RabbitMQ
