About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, emulation, and verification of the digital portions of audio products
- Drive improvements in product cycle time, design quality, and engineering productivity
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure products meet market demands
- Verify complex System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions using advanced methodologies such as UVM
- Support DFT strategy, implementation, and scan pattern debugging
- Work with analog design teams to identify partitioning and block requirements
- Participate in silicon wake-up, lab debugging, and circuit design reviews before tape-out
- Generate production test vectors and support ATE team development
Requirements
- MSEE degree with at least 5 years of semiconductor industry experience
- Proficiency in digital standard cell-based IC design using Verilog
- Experience with Linting, CDC, RDC, synthesis, and timing analysis
- Proven track record of delivering multiple products into volume production
- Experience with Design for Testability (DFT) and scan insertion
- Familiarity with Cadence or Synopsys design tools
- Experience debugging ICs and evaluation systems in a lab environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in signal processing concepts such as Digital Filters, Interpolation/Decimation, and Delta-Sigma Converters
- Experience with Matlab and Simulink
- Experience integrating micro-processors such as ARM or RISC-V
- Knowledge of communication protocols including I2C, I2S, and SPI
- Experience managing multiple power domains, clock domains, and bus arbiter control
- Knowledge of SRAM, ROM, and Flash memory
