Senior Engineer - DevOps

Responsibilities

• Support the PumpTest project by ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and scaling of microservices across cloud environments
• Streamline CI/CD processes and manage infrastructure to maintain high system availability
• Collaborate closely with development teams to facilitate successful deployments
• Manage local workloads using K3S and troubleshoot production Kubernetes workloads
• Configure centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systems

Requirements

• Experience running and troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads in production
• Proficiency with K3S for handling local workloads
• Proven experience deploying microservice applications in Docker containers
• Deep understanding of Docker networking (host, bridge) and container troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of load balancing, auto-scaling, and Linux server administration
• Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and alerting
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java or C#
• Exposure to Kafka and Elasticsearch platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with API Gateway, NGINX, and Nexus repository
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management
• Knowledge of Terraform and Puppet for infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure, including AKS, Azure Container Registry, and Active Directory
• CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
