Senior Engineer - DDR Software Driver

Responsibilities

• Debug and develop DDR initialization and runtime driver sequences using state-of-the-art LP4x/LP5x technology
• Identify and debug DDR system issues including memory corruptions, memory lockups, bit flips, and memory leaks
• Drive multiple programs and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as performance, PHY, and controller design
• Perform triage of DDR issues and analyze large datasets to recognize patterns
• Enhance and develop test cases for system-level validations on mobile systems
• Own and drive multiple chipsets within the DDR technology area throughout the product development lifecycle

Requirements

• B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, or a related engineering field
• 4-8 years of experience in embedded systems
• Proven experience in DDR technology (memory controllers, PHY, and DRAMs), firmware, or platform driver development
• Strong debugging expertise in system-level issues such as bit flips, memory corruption, cache corruption, or CPU hangs
• Proficiency in C and Python programming languages
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture and system-level test methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with board bring-up and core BSP driver-level development
• Knowledge of JTAG, processor architecture, and RTOS operating systems
• Familiarity with CPU architecture and SoC system knowledge
