Senior Engineer, CAD

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and support robust, configurable, and scalable tools to enable hardware verification across multiple projects
• Evaluate, improve, and debug both in-house and commercial Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and flows for Design Verification
• Identify, gather, and analyze metrics to improve automation reliability and hardware verification performance
• Debug vendor tool issues and interact with Design Verification teams to solve technical problems
• Implement new functionality to solve emerging problems or optimize existing methods to increase team productivity

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Assertions
• Extensive experience with Incisive/Xcelium, Synopsys VCS, or Modelsim
• Strong programming abilities in Python and/or Perl

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UVM, VMM, OVM, C, or C++
• Experience in coverage management using VMANAGER
• Familiarity with Verdi and/or Simvision
• Knowledge of TCL programming
• Experience with front-end web development and UI design
