Senior Engineer - ASIC Verification & Validation Engineering

Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, and maintain emulation platforms including PCs, peripherals, and FPGA systems
• Create, follow, and improve setup and configuration documentation
• Configure associated test equipment such as logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
• Coordinate and manage site inventories and licensing for drives, equipment, and firmware
• Create standardized system configurations and perform retrofits to existing systems
• Perform issue reproduction, debug data retrieval, and first-level failure analysis to support firmware engineers

Requirements

• Associate degree or better in engineering technology or equivalent work experience
• 2-4 years of related experience in a technical engineering environment
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration and configuration
• Experience with Python scripting
• Strong ability to problem solve and debug electronics issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Synopsys HAAPS FPGAs
• Prior experience working with SSDs or other storage devices
• Experience using protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Background in hardware electronics and hardware troubleshooting
