Senior Engineer, ASIC Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive verification and validation plans for both pre- and post-silicon SoC designs.
• Develop and execute tests for subsystem and SoC-level verification, including datapath validation.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis of issues across digital logic, firmware, and timing domains.
• Build and maintain automated test environments, regression suites, and validation infrastructure.
• Develop firmware, bare-metal tests, and Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) code to enable validation.
• Run complex verification scenarios on Palladium/Emulation platforms to accelerate debug and coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the closure of all verification and validation activities.

Requirements

• BE or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 4-6 years of experience in SoC pre-/post-silicon verification, validation, and bring-up.
• Deep understanding of C, embedded programming, and hardware/software co-validation methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM concepts.
• Experience with industry-standard protocols such as PCIe, DDR, LPDDR, USB, Ethernet, or AXI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python or Perl for automation and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with post-silicon ASIC bring-up and system-level debug.
