Senior Engineer Applications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to automotive customers during the evaluation, integration, and development of Automotive Ethernet solutions.
• Perform hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and issue replication on customer platforms and evaluation kits.
• Track, analyze, and drive the resolution of complex customer technical issues.
• Develop and deliver customer training, application workshops, and trade show demonstrations.
• Create technical documentation, including integration guides, application notes, and API documentation.
• Partner with Product Management, Design Engineering, and Quality teams to align product capabilities with market needs.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer or Systems Engineer in automotive or Ethernet applications.
• Hands-on experience in hardware debugging and issue replication.
• Proficiency in C and Python programming, including scripting capabilities.
• Experience with schematics review and PCB layout review.
• Strong understanding of SerDes protocols and interfaces such as xxBASE-T1, I2C, MDC/MDIO, and QSPI.
• Knowledge of Ethernet PHYs, Switches, and Bridge products.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
