Senior Engineer – Agile Software Development – Engine System Software P3

Responsibilities

• Develop software requirements and designs for gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems within an Agile framework
• Decompose system-level and customer interface requirements into detailed software specifications
• Conduct iterative prototype testing, regression analysis, and software verification
• Develop and execute electronic bench test scripts and perform low-level module/object testing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including software planning, estimating, and tracking
• Potential to serve as an Agile Scrum Master or a key member of the Development Team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• 5 years of engineering experience, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience developing software within an Agile framework
• Experience with safety-critical software development and regulatory standards such as DO178B
• Background in Controls Systems development and support
• Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures
• Strong cross-discipline communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
