Senior Engineer, Agency Planning and Implementation

Responsibilities

• Oversee energy efficiency project development through review of Energy Efficiency Reports, Energy Master Plans, and electrification feasibilities
• Support agency energy master planning and project prioritization using energy metrics and portfolio data
• Perform technical calculations and analysis using energy models, cost estimators, and equipment sizing tools
• Manage and track project development data and internal databases
• Liaise with agency partners, facility managers, consultants, and contractors
• Support strategic planning initiatives and provide technical expertise for public-facing events
• Oversee and manage Associate Engineers, providing training and technical guidance

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in architecture, engineering, building science, environmental science, or a related field
• Or completion of a 2-year construction trade apprentice program with 2 years of energy conservation experience
• Or 4 years of full-time experience in energy generation or conservation work
• Ability to maintain a valid New York State Motor Vehicle Driver License if required
