About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated white-glove technical support to executives, ensuring seamless technology experiences and rapid incident resolution.
  • Deliver end-to-end meeting and event support, including readiness checks and live troubleshooting for high-profile meetings.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, partnering with Service Desk and Workplace Support teams.
  • Utilize advanced tools like Copilot, AI, Helix, and Nexthink to proactively identify and resolve PC and AV environment issues.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Manage device lifecycles, including deployment, preventative maintenance, and hardware refresh planning.
  • Support critical operations, including after-hours coverage for major events and storm response as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical support or a service desk role.
  • Two-year technology degree or equivalent military/work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Proven experience with AV and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Ability to perform physical support tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of the utility industry and the Southern Company environment.
