Senior Employee Relations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, workplace issues, and policy interpretation
• Conduct investigations, fact-finding, and provide resolution recommendations
• Partner with managers to address performance, conflicts, and policy compliance
• Administer Leave of Absence programs, workplace accommodations, and workers' compensation
• Coordinate immigration case administration with external counsel
• Draft and implement People policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
• Develop systems and reporting to improve visibility into employee relations and compliance
• Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Talent Acquisition on workplace initiatives

Requirements

• Experience managing employee relations matters and workplace investigations
• Experience applying California employment practices and compliance requirements
• Experience administering leave of absence, accommodations, or workers' compensation
• Experience partnering with Legal on sensitive employee matters
• Ability to lawfully access information subject to US export controls
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a standard office environment and move throughout facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multi-state employee populations
• Proficiency with HRIS, Jira, Power BI, or similar operational technologies
• Experience developing dashboards and workforce insight metrics
• Familiarity with immigration administration and vendor coordination
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, or Analytics
