Senior Employee Relations Partner

Responsibilities

• Advise, coach, and guide all levels of management on complex employee relations decisions, including business conduct, performance management, and terminations
• Partner with People Partners and Legal to ensure employee relations issues are addressed consistently and in adherence to legal guidelines
• Support business leaders in handling workplace concerns and co-creating effective action plans
• Ensure oversight and governance of policies and practices globally, interpreting employment laws and regulations to provide guidance
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and robust documentation regarding all reported matters and fact-finding investigations
• Use HR analytics and data to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and make data-driven recommendations to the business
• Advocate for an inclusive workplace as part of broader DEI programs and support management training initiatives

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience, including deep domain expertise in employee relations, workplace conflict, and performance management
• In-depth understanding of US employment and human resources laws, regulations, and practices
• Ability to work and operate during the Pacific Time Zone
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial or confrontational situations
• Strong attention to detail regarding documentation and risk assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• JD degree
• Knowledge of and experience with international labor practices
• Experience working within a technology environment
