About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to US People Managers regarding employee grievances, corrective action, and workplace conflict resolution.
- Independently lead and manage complex, sensitive workplace investigations from end-to-end, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
- Interview witnesses, collect evidence, and draft comprehensive investigation reports with actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Partner with Employment Legal, HR Business Partners, and Senior Executives to deliver legally sound solutions to high-stakes workforce issues.
- Monitor and analyze employee relations metrics and attrition data to design proactive risk-mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert coaching to leadership on performance management, disciplinary execution, and documentation best practices.
- Design and administer company-wide Employee Relations policies and deliver targeted training for managers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall HR experience, with at least 3 years dedicated specifically to Employee Relations.
- Proven track record of leading complex, US-based workplace investigations from start to finish.
- Deep understanding of US federal, state, and local employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, and ADEA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office.
- Exceptional documentation skills and the ability to remain objective in high-stakes or confrontational situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience working with the Workday HRIS system.
- Prior experience within the technology or cybersecurity industry.
- Professional HR certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
