Senior Employee Relations Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal investigations regarding workplace complaints or concerns
• Manage sensitive, confidential, and emotionally charged employee situations
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and People Operations to ensure policy compliance
• Act as an advisor to managers on difficult conversations and complex policy questions
• Provide guidance on California-specific mandates including meal/rest breaks and harassment prevention
• Identify workplace risks and report trends to leadership to guide culture improvements

Requirements

• 8+ years of deep HR generalist experience
• Deep expertise in California labor law and wage-and-hour regulations
• Proven ability to conduct thorough internal investigations
• Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to travel periodically (up to 25%)
• Must be based in Sunnyvale or San Francisco, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in fast-growing or scaling business environments
• Experience navigating CRD compliance frameworks
