Senior Emergency Preparedness & Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and own global medical preparedness and response programs, including protocols and equipment standards
• Design and deliver medical training and competency requirements for personnel
• Develop technical rescue programs for confined space, high angle, and marine/water rescue
• Oversee the Saronic Emergency Response Team (SERT) program, including training and mobilization
• Serve in Incident Command System (ICS) roles during emergencies
• Support implementation of Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and conduct site hazard evaluations

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in emergency medicine, emergency management, fire science, or related field
• National Registry or Texas DSHS Paramedic certification (Nursing or Military medical practitioners considered)
• 5+ years of experience in emergency response, technical rescue, or incident management

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in industrial rescue, public safety, or military emergency operations
• Advanced credentials such as ACLS, PHTLS, TECC, TCCC, CCP-C, or FP-C
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and ICS/NIMS
• Experience delivering technical instruction to responders and leadership teams
