Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software in critical environments
• Participate in the definition and architecture of embedded systems
• Develop and integrate real-time solutions under RTOS and embedded Linux
• Perform software validation, verification, and testing activities
• Participate in system integration and qualification campaigns
• Write associated technical documentation
• Contribute to technical reviews and exchanges with client teams
• Ensure compliance with applicable requirements and standards

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in electronics, embedded computing, digital systems, or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years of experience in embedded systems development or engineering
• Experience in high-constraint industrial environments (aerospace, defense, space, automotive)
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
• Experience with RTOS and embedded Linux
• Knowledge of ARM architectures and microcontrollers
• Familiarity with embedded protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART)
• Proficiency with development tools like Git, GitLab CI, and Jira
• Professional level of English
• Ability to obtain defense security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with safety standards (DO-178C, DO-254, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ECSS)
• Experience with ARINC 429 or MIL-STD-1553
• Knowledge of testing tools like VectorCAST, RTRT, or LDRA
• Modeling skills in UML or SysML
• Knowledge of FPGA (VHDL/Verilog) or embedded cybersecurity
