Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, and embedded computing platforms for future measurement devices
• Benchmark computer vision and deep learning workloads across hardware platforms
• Prototype and validate edge AI solutions using NVIDIA Jetson, Intel Atom, Coral TPU, and other accelerators
• Deploy, optimize, and support multiple computer vision and machine learning models on embedded devices
• Analyze system performance including compute, memory, thermal, power, and latency
• Develop software and systems-level applications in Python and C/C++
• Work with Linux kernel interfaces, system services, and device drivers
• Collaborate with Computer Vision and Data Science teams to scale edge deployments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in embedded, IoT, edge computing, or embedded AI systems
• Experience deploying computer vision or deep learning models on edge devices
• Strong understanding of microprocessors, memory, storage, and system architecture
• Strong Python development skills for rapid prototyping
• Experience developing embedded applications in C/C++
• Familiarity with Linux kernel interfaces and device drivers
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with AI inference optimization (TensorRT, OpenVINO, ONNX Runtime, or TensorFlow Lite)
