Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Product teams to design, develop, and test new features for next-generation Fixed Wireless Access products
• Provide platform software expertise to application developers to ensure a stable, high-performance product
• Work in the lab to validate functionality, reproduce issues, and automate tests using various hardware tools
• Investigate and debug complex problems by analyzing component datasheets and working with supplier FAEs
• Support manufacturing and operations with software qualification for alternate parts and BOM updates

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering (MS preferred)
• 5+ years of C/C++ embedded systems development experience
• Expert knowledge of Linux/RTOS platform development in multi-core ARM processor-based systems
• Proficiency in Python and bash scripting for task automation
• Hands-on experience with cross-compilation toolchains targeting embedded Linux
• Proficiency with lab equipment including JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications for carrier or enterprise products, ideally with internally developed SoCs
• Familiarity with tools such as git, Rust, golang, bazel, buildroot, grpc, protobuf, zephyr, U-Boot, or ATF
• Conceptual understanding of digital signal processing (modulation, filtering, sampling, and baseband interfacing)
