Senior Embedded Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a division of software engineers
• Set technical direction, define best practices, and drive modern engineering methodologies
• Collaborate with architects to design scalable and robust software solutions
• Review system architecture, design patterns, and technology choices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical/Computer Engineering
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on embedded development
• Experience in object-oriented and embedded-system design
• Strong expertise in C and C++
• Strong expertise in Embedded Linux and RTOS (Zephyr is a plus)
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

• GoLang experience
