Senior Embedded Software Engineer

CycloTech GmbH is a technology company with start-up character in Linz. With our CycloRotors, we develop a new, sustainable, highly maneuverable, and environmentally accepted eVTOL propulsion solution for the 21st century.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate hardware and software components into CycloRotor products
• Guide the team in applying DO-178 (ED-12) and ARP4754 / ARP4761 (ED-79 / ED-135) standards
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members and other engineers
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for internal and external purposes

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, embedded systems, or related field
• At least 8 years of experience in HW/SW systems for electric aircraft or safety-critical applications
• At least 4 years of experience in an aerospace design organization practicing DO-178
• Deep knowledge of ARP4754/61 and DO178C
• Familiarity with DO254, DO160, CS-E, or Part 33
• Proven track record of implementing automation across V&V activities
• Advanced English language skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CVE experience
• Knowledge of German language
