About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and integrate hardware and software components into CycloRotor products
- Guide the team in applying DO-178 (ED-12) and ARP4754 / ARP4761 standards for certifiable products
- Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members and other engineers
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for internal and external purposes
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, embedded systems, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in HW/SW systems for electric aircraft or safety-critical applications
- 4+ years of experience in an aerospace design organization practicing DO-178
- Deep knowledge of ARP4754/61 and DO178C
- Familiarity with DO254, DO160, CS-E, or Part 33
- Proven track record of implementing automation across V&V activities
- Advanced English language skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CVE experience
- Knowledge of German language
