Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support embedded software development and testing for agricultural control systems
• Collaborate with guidance and control teams to solve complex navigation and controls challenges
• Work with Linux embedded systems, C++, and sensor integration to support autonomy and precision features
• Research, write, develop, test, and evaluate embedded software programs
• Facilitate deployment and integration of embedded software with hardware platforms
• Develop and integrate embedded software functionalities while ensuring compliance with ISO 11783 (ISOBUS) standards
• Perform system-level debugging, issue investigation, and root-cause analysis in laboratory and field environments
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy

Requirements

• 5+ years of career experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of experience with a Master’s degree
• Proficiency with Linux embedded systems and C++
• Experience with sensor integration
• Knowledge of ISO 11783 (ISOBUS) standards
• Strong system-level debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to define technical solutions
