Senior Email Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise email security gateways in production environments
• Design, tune, and operate anti-phishing, anti-spoofing, and malware controls
• Lead incident response for email-borne threats including BEC and zero-day phishing
• Integrate email security with M365 Defender, SIEM, SOAR, and DLP
• Implement and manage email security protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
• Produce audit-ready evidence aligned to SAMA and NCA frameworks
• Monitor and analyze email security incidents and conduct investigations
• Develop and enforce email security policies and best practices
• Provide training and awareness sessions regarding email security to employees

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in email security or related cybersecurity roles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar platforms
• Expertise in Exchange Online mail flow and hybrid email routing
• Strong knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC enforcement and troubleshooting
• Experience with email encryption standards and DLP solutions
• Familiarity with incident response procedures and SIEM tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CESS
• Experience with scripting and automation for security processes
• Knowledge of compliance standards like GDPR or HIPAA
• Experience in a managed security service provider (MSSP) environment
• Experience in regulated Saudi environments and evidence-driven operations
