Senior Email Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ultimate escalation point for email security incidents including phishing, malware, and BEC attacks
• Design and maintain email security policies on Cisco ESA, Forcepoint, Trellix, or Trend Micro
• Implement and maintain SPF, DKIM, and DMARC policies to reduce spoofing
• Integrate email gateways with DLP, classification, and SIEM platforms
• Lead incident response, threat hunting, and produce detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Ensure compliance with SAMA CSF and NCA ECC requirements
• Coordinate with messaging, network security, and SOC teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years in cybersecurity or messaging security
• At least 4 years dedicated to secure email gateway and threat protection platforms in large enterprises
• Deep hands-on experience with at least two of: Cisco Secure Email, Forcepoint Email Security, Trellix/FireEye, or Trend Micro ScanMail
• Strong understanding of SMTP, MIME, TLS, DNS, and authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Vendor certifications for Cisco, Forcepoint, Trellix, or Trend Micro email security
• ITIL Foundation certification or practical experience
• CISSP or CCSP certifications
• Experience with Forcepoint DLP, Fortra Titus, Seclore, or SIEM platforms
