Senior ELV Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise contractor execution of ELV and ICT site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and design intent.
• Oversee the installation of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, copper cabling, ICT rooms, racks, and containment infrastructure.
• Review technical documentation including ELV shop drawings, layouts, risers, schematics, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate ELV and ICT works with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, CSA, security, BMS, and commissioning teams.
• Track site progress and identify potential risks related to installation sequencing, access, and testing readiness.
• Witness and verify cable pulling, terminations, labeling, testing, and certification activities.
• Support system integration across ELV, ICT, BMS, EPMS, DCIM, and security systems.
• Assist with snagging, punch list closure, as-built verification, and final handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Mandatory experience in data center or mission-critical project environments.
• Proven experience in ELV/ICT site supervision within high-availability environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic backbones, and copper cabling.
• Familiarity with industry standards including TIA, EIA, BICSI, and ISO.
• Strong coordination skills to manage interfaces between various engineering disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hyperscale or colocation data centers.
• Previous project experience within the GCC region.
• Exposure to redundancy architectures such as N, N+1, and 2N.
• Familiarity with DCIM, BMS, EPMS, CCTV, and Access Control Systems (ACS).
• Relevant professional certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, or CCNA.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Aconex, or Procore.
