About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead hardware architecture and design for embedded systems, including component selection, block diagrams, and sensor integration.
  • Develop and document hardware and software interface specifications and electrical wiring interfaces.
  • Test and validate systems to ensure they meet all operational and functional requirements.
  • Solve complex problems regarding hardware and software interfaces throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Guide hardware engineering teams in best practices, own design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Research emerging technology advances for potential application to business needs.

Requirements

  • B.E. degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • 10-12 years of experience in electronics technology or hardware engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Microcontrollers, SoCs, FPGAs, and memory technologies (EEPROM, NOR, NAND, LPDDR4/5, DDR3/4, eMMC).
  • Expertise in communication interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and PCIe.
  • Proficiency in power supply design, on-board POL designs, and high-speed board layout constraints.
  • Experience with analog/digital circuit design and EMI/EMC compliance testing.
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies (GPS, GSM, Wi-Fi, BLE, ZigBee) and peripheral technologies.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), mass manufacturing, and reliability engineering (HALT/HASS).
