About the role

Responsibilities

  • Construct, calibrate, adjust, test, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic equipment, components, and systems
  • Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions
  • Set up and operate standard or special test equipment
  • Analyze, interpret, and record test data for engineering prototypes and first article equipment
  • Prepare reports, charts, graphs, and schematics on developmental engineering equipment
  • Document all electronic testing procedures and results
  • Assist engineers with the development of new engineering processes and products to ensure manufacturability
  • Interface with engineering departments regarding program implementation

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with verification and inspection including associated standards, processes, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience debugging and testing power supply circuits at the component level
  • Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power sources
  • Experience building and inspecting test assemblies, fixtures, and cables
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use lookup tools
  • Strong soldering skills and knowledge of soldering materials, fluxes, and equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical concepts
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
